Is statement footwear the new norm?

The oversized trainer trend is here to stay, and dare I say it, grow. The fact of the matter is… You’re going to need a bigger shoe.

Thankfully, Givenchy Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller has designed the first urban sports sneaker for the house.  Long overdue in our humble opinion, but worth the wait.

Inspired by the many functionalities of a sports shoe, the Jaw sneaker is so named for the ‘teeth’ design on its soles, giving it a statement futuristic edge.

A modern, streamlined style with an urban twist, the Jaw debuts exclusively as all-white or all-black high-tops in leather and nylon with a zip closure. Classic sneaker styles, in white, black or three-color iterations with blue or red, will follow later this year.

The Jaw high-top sneaker will debut in Givenchy boutiques and online starting on August 17th.
