The Esquire Edit of the Paneanese fashion giant’s progressive sub-label

In case we haven’t been clear enough about it before: We’re big fans of Uniqlo U.

The Japanese fast-fashion giant’s progressive little sublabel is headed by former Hermès creative director Christophe Lemaire, and it’s been churning out some of the best clothes of its price range over the past few seasons.

The Summer 2018 collection of Uniqlo U is set to drop here early next month, and there’s a lot to look forward to. It’s a very broad collection, with lightweight clothes in a range of bright and summery colors—much more wearable than the previous Fall collection, which featured thick knits and outerwear that weren’t suited to our tropical climate.

Standout pieces that are sure to fly off the shelves quickest are the Harrington jacket, the open collar short-sleeved shirts, and the striped tees. Here are some of the collection’s highlights:
