Can you do more crunches than the world’s best footballer?

Nike has said that it will be launching a new at-home workout challenge to give fitness fans a chance to compete against some of the world’s fittest sports stars.

The new digital workout series – called The Living Room Cup – is Nike’s way of trying to keep users moving while self-isolating at home. And it’s not doing it alone.

Nike has gotten many of its famous brand ambassadors in for the series, who will set weekly fitness challenges for those who want to stay fit in self-isolation.

The first challenge pits your abs against Cristiano Ronaldo, who shared his challenge via Instagram.

Ronaldo fans have one week to beat his best score before Nike announces a new challenge, with a new brand ambassador.

Taking on the world’s best footballer at his own game (having fantasti abs) sound daunting? Nike has added features to its Nike Training Club app that lets people take part in weekly workouts designed specifically to help you with that week’s challenger.

Those taking part can share the results via Instagram using #playinside and #thelivingroomcup hashtags.
