The USA men’s basketball team’s successfully toppled team Serbia in its third pre-Olympics showcase game on July 17 in Abu Dhabi. With a final score of 105 – 79, Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry dropped 24 points, and Los Angeles Lakers’ standout Anthony Davis had six blocks, seven points, and six rebounds.

Team USA entered the game riding on two victories in both of its first two games, coming off a razor thin 98-92 victory over Australia.

People were lauding Stephen Curry’s spectacular performance as ‘vintage Steph’, as is demonstrated from this impressive highlight taken from the night.

When asked about Abu Dhabi, Anthony Davis said, “It’s dope.” The entire team has planted their flag at the five-star resort on Saadiyat Island, the same star studded hotel that housed all the A-listers during the Formula One Grand Prix last November.

Following the victory, team USA will next challenge fellow Group C member South Sudan in London for its fourth and penultimate USA Basketball Showcase exhibition on Saturday, July 20, in London, UK.
