It was a(nother) victorious night for both Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema and Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah at the 13th annual Dubai Globe Soccer Awards last night as they scooped the top prizes in the men’s category.

The Real Madrid player added to his stunning haul of trophies this season by adding the award for Best Men’s Player of the Year, while Liverpool’s striker Mo Salah was voted TikTok Fans’ Player of the Year – as selected by the general public.

While not physically in attendance, Karim Benzema’s award was announced on the side of Burj Khalifa

The annual awards show, hosted in Dubai, honours international football players and professionals from across the world for their talent and hard work over the last year, alongside legends who have been integral to the success of the game for many years.

Alongside the two Arab icons, other winners of the evening included Real Madrid (who received a staggering six awards), Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimović and Sérgio Ramos of PSG.
