This past Saturday, July 20, 2024, YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul TKO’d former UFC standout, Mike Perry in the sixth round in Florida, USA. Perry, who is part owner of Bareknuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), was fired by Conor McGregor after his lackluster performance, a decision which Perry is now disputing.

Still, McGregor was quick to taunt Paul via twitter, saying: “Jake Paul is the biggest p***bag I have ever seen in my life. 40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still s***ting himself in there.”
Naturally, Paul was quick to respond, writing, “That’s f***ed up that he fired your BKFC champion,” Paul said at the post-fight press conference. “I told you that was going to happen. I told you exactly what was going to happen.” Adding, “He was big upping his boy Mike Perry. I said, ‘OK Conor, after I f*** up Mike Perry, then you’re next. So Conor’s on Twitter all the time. He’s on his yacht all the time. Guess where he’s not? In the ring, fighting me.”
“So he can talk all the f*** he wants, but The Notorious MMA is scared of Jake Joseph Paul from Disney channel. And I put that on my mama,” Paul concluded.
However, as is customary for Paul, he is known to challenge fighters he knows aren’t legally allowed to fight him due to their UFC (or other organisations) contracts, like his recent callout of current Light Heavyweight champion, Alex Perreira. Still, regarding McGregor, unless Dana gets on board for another McGregor vs Mayweather like superfight, the chance that he’ll deviate from his UFC contract and step into the boxing ring is quite unlikely.
