Fitness isn’t a hobby, it’s a lifestyle. The second you commit yourself to taking better care of your body, the more you see how that choice expands into not only every aspect of how we manage our own lives, but how we look at the world. Wellness is about bringing out the best in everything—embracing the beauty that this world has to offer, and doing what we can to make it a greater place for the next generation.

That’s the reason Technogym, the leading player in the fitness space, is developing a lot more than the tools you need to work out—they’re moving for a better world. Part of that mission was on display at its once-in-a-lifetime three-day private retreat – hosted at the ultra-luxurious resort Atlantis The Royal in Dubai – in May, aptly titled ‘Let’s Move For a Better World’, which united an extremely select guest list of influencers and experts in nutritious and training, curated in partnership by none other than Jeremy Jauncey, the founder of Beautiful Destinations.

“This project has been a year in the making and combines two passions at the heart of both Technogym and myself—training on the world’s best equipment, and doing so in the world’s best hotels. The vision we had in launching Technogym Retreats was to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences in beautiful destinations, while learning new skills with world-renowned experts,” Jauncey tells Esquire Middle East.

“A couple of close friends are the world’s leading breathwork expert Richie Bostock and performance chef Dan Churchill, so we asked them to come, train with us and teach us. We also wanted to celebrate the launch of the new Technogym Run, show how effective it is in a home and hotel environment but also take equipment out to the desert—like the super iconic Skillrun and Technogym Bench, plus other functional training tools—and show the versatility of the products in very different environments.”

Technogym Run is the brand’s newest treadmill, born from Technogym’s 30 years of experience in fitness and sport, which offers a single solution to the same level of quality and technology found in the best gyms, as well as an unprecedented variety of workouts: from running, to power, to bootcamp.

The 27” Technogym Live console allows users to choose their preferred training experience from a wide range of training programs and modes (cardio, strength, or high intensity) or from the library of on-demand video workouts which include trainer-led sessions, routines that follow specific objectives, as well as virtual immersive outdoor workouts, that adapt to users’ speed and adjust the incline according to the chosen route.

In addition, Technogym Live offers endless entertainment options (including Netflix, YouTube, TV channels, social media, and more). When it comes to bootcamp, the console also offers exercises and programs to perform off-treadmill on the Technogym Bench.

The retreat even brought the Run out to the stunning deserts of the emirate, showing the
versatile power of the best-in-class machine. Trust us, this is one you’re going to want to try
for yourself.
