What got you started on your wellness journey? Did you always lead a healthy lifestyle, or did you have a turning point moment?

I’ve always been an athlete for as long as I can remember playing football. Training in the gym has been an integral part of my life. More so at this age of my life I realize how important it is not only physically but mentally. 

Has your fitness had an impact on your mental health?

Absolutely. It’s already been proven, scientifically, how exercise enhances your mental health. I have experienced how it allows me to be sharp, focused and in good spirits.

Has your workout routine changed during the pandemic?

Definitely. I upped my exercise routine to 6 days per week when I used to average 2-3 days per week, because I wasn’t going to allow the stress to affect me physically or mentally during the pandemic. I lead many businesses and I felt that working out really helped me stay focused. When you run your own business, you have people relying on you, so I wanted to be on my A-Game for all of the people depending on me.

Who have been some of your biggest inspirations on your path to fitness?

I never had a role model or an inspiration. I just always wanted to evolve as a human being and improve day by day.

How have you been using the Run Personal to stay fit?

I use it for my cardio. I enjoy having the screen on different nature routes. 

How often do you train with Technogym’s experts?

For the workouts I like to do, I think the equipment is great on its own. However, whenever I’ve needed help from the trainers for new exercises, they’re always super helpful. Form is extremely important and it’s very useful having easy access to the best trainers in the field.

Do you prefer to train at home with your Run Personal?

In general, I prefer training at home with my Run Personal. I have been training at home for a very long time, and really enjoy it.

How much of Netflix have you watched while training on your Run Personal?

I haven’t watched Netflix on my Run Personal or on any other equipment. Not yet, at least. I think it is a great feature if you want to give yourself an incentive to work out.

Do you have any advice for someone who would like to embark on their own wellness journey?

I think it’s very important for each individual to be on their own wellness journey. I think taking care of yourself is loving yourself. They say health is wealth and there’s nothing more true and simple than that. It’s important to be healthy in the mind and the body so I would always recommend it.
