Ryan is partnering with Technogym to monitor his biofeedback in order to ensure success in his sixth Guinness World Record attempt.

Dubai-based fitness enthusiast Lee Ryan is headed towards another world record. This time, Ryan is geared up to break the Guinness World Record of 24 hours straight for running on a treadmill.

According to Ryan, who has already broken five Guinness World Records, he wishes to build a legacy for his family. Following the lockdown period, he decided he wanted to achieve more, setting out to break records dependent on his own strength, training, and endurance.

For his latest goal of conquering the treadmill, he partnered with Technogym, which offers biofeedback with their Skillrun by Technogym treadmills, which Ryan is using to support himself and his coaches with data to monitor performance and running efficiency.

The british runner ran his first marathon with his father in London when he was 18 years old. When he arrived in Dubai 15 years later, he worked as a personal trainer before he began working with Adidas as the captain of Adidas Runners Dubai & Abu Dhabi, a global running community that he helped get started in the region. Through Ryan’s guidance, the Adidas running community grew to 6,000 members.

It was never a doubt that if I needed to break such a challenging world record, I had to partner with the best in the wellness industry,” said Ryan on his partnership with Technogym.

Ryan uses two American coaches, one of whom is an Olympic marathoner, and the other an established ‘ultra runner’ who ran across America solo, which garnered media attention at the time.

Ryan is currently training hard physically, as well as listening to podcasts about people he admires and reading books on mental training in order to prepare his psyche for the record attempt.

Ryan will attempt the world record on April 9. For more information on Technogym click here
