For the second year in a row, World’s Ultimate Strongman is taking place right here in Dubai. The event pushes some of the world’s most brawny men to the limit, towing trucks, throwing logs, insane deadlifts, nothing is too much for these guys.
What is it?
The World’s Ultimate Strongman competition (shortened to just ‘WUS’) is a new annual event where the strongest men from a variety of countries all come together to compete for glory and a hefty cash prize. This year the event will bring 18 athletes together to compete in what is known as ‘events’, these are gruelling tests of not only physical strength but also mental strength and dedication.
The men will compete for the US $75,000 first prize. Total prize money will be US $150,000.
Not only is it a sporting event, it is also an entertainment festival, offering up a day of shows, music, food and experiences.
