The glamour and the pagentry of the Formula One circus is not news to anyone. Among the high-octain racing, the eardrum-piercing noise and hundreds of laps taken at break-neck speeds – are some of the fittest athletes in the world.
With the new Formula One season set to start on March 23 to 26 in Melbourne, Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo, one of the main contenders to the title, gives the world a sneak peek into his pre-season regime from the sunny shores of Califor-ni-ay.
“If you don’t start the season on the front foot then you are constantly chasing it because there is not enough time between the media commitments, races and travelling. So it’s super important to maximise the free time you have,” says Australian racer while pedalling on a stationary gym bike.
Ricciardo has recently stepped up his game with regards to his online profile, and well-produced clips like these of his intense work-out regimes, adventurous nature and drive to succeed do wonders to show off the affable 27-year-old’s natural charisma to a wider audience.
