Well it’s high-time you put your money where your mouth is, with Adidas’s latest #FirstNeverFollows activation zone open at Dubai Sports World offering you the chance to put your space and skills to the test. Operating between now and August 27, the activation offers confident sportsmen the chance to test their speed and record their high scores. Competitors will be given the chance to win Dhs 2,000 worth of Adidas vouchers and aalso have a shot at being selected to compete in the grand finale for the opportunity to be officially crowned the UAE’s fastest footballer.
If that wasn’t incentive enough, contestants will also be among the first to try Adidas’s latest ‘Speed of Light’ boots. The brand’s lightest and most aerodynamic shoe to date. Whether you’re the type of player that pulls the strings and sets the pace, or a player that ignites a game and tears centre backs to shreds in the 90th minute, you have to be able to think quickly with the ball at your feet. The #FirstNeverFollows activation intends to test this skill and let every football fan and player find out just how quickly they can make decisions on the football pitch. It’s a better test of talent than Fifa, let’s be honest. So if you’ve got any scores to settle within your five-a-side team then this is the place to do so.
The initiative also has some high-level regional backing. Al Wahda FC forward and last season’s Arabian Gulf League top scorer, Sebastián Tagliabué, has even voiced his support for the project.
