The national Center of Meteorology (NCM) recently announced the possibility of rainfall over the next several days as cloudy weather is expected in the north and south parts of the UAE, increasing precipitation from light to moderate. But perhaps the biggest shocker comes in the drop of temperature, which is said to plummet somewhere between 8 and 14°C.
The lowest temperature recorded in the country as of this morning, December 18, was 5.3°C in Jais Mountain, Ras Al Khaimah at 5.45am. For anyone who’s ever complained that they can never wear that one turtleneck they have, your prayers have just been answered.
High temperatures in the interior regions of the country are forecast to range from 25°C to 29°C. Coastal areas and islands will experience temperatures between 24°C and 28°C, while the mountain regions will see temperatures stretching from 12°C to 17°C.
