The Lebanese businessman was engaged to Tiffany Trump in the White House’s rose garden

Donald Trump has a new son-in-law; Lebanese businessman Michael Boulos.

Boulos asked Trump’s daughter Tiffany to marry him during a visit to the White House (purportedly, the engagement happened in the rose garden), news of which was revealed on the last day of Donald Trump’s presidency.

Trump’s youngest daughter said, “It has been an honour to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael! Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!” via Instagram to her 1.3 million followers.

Who is Michael Boulos?

Unlike his new family-in-law, Boulos has lived most of his life out of the public eye.

He was born in 1998, in Kfaraakka – a village in northern Lebanon. While he is both French and Lebanese by nationality, he spent most of his life goring up in Nigeria, where his family’s business interests are based.

Boulos is the heir to a billion dollar fortune

Michael Boulos father – Dr Massad Boulos – owns a multibillion-dollar conglomerate called SCOA PLC, which runs a number of companies that operate across West Africa. For the past 15 years, Michael Boulous has been listed as an associate director at the family company.

Boulos went to university in London

After graduating from the American International School in Lagos (and a reportedly lively social life at the city’s exotic bar Spice Route) Boulos moved to London to further his education. He studied at Regent’s University London, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, followed by a Project Management master’s degree focused on finance and rist at City University, London.

Tiffany Trump and Michael Boulos have dated since 2018

The soon-to-be husband and wife were first spotted together in 2018, when Tiffany introduced Boulos to her family and president father at Trump’s famous Florida Mar-a-Lago retreat, during Thanksgiving.

According to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Boulos popped the question alongside a 13-carat diamond ring he bought in Dubai.

Bolous has big plans for 2021

At just 23-years-old, marriage to a Trump is just the beginning for Boulos.

Alongside the proposal, he has just started a new job as Vice President of Business Development at KT Corporation this January, while retaining his roles in two family businesses.

Considering this is Trump Sr.’s last day in power, Trump Inc. will no doubt appreciate some positive news to offer the world in what has been a tumultuous final month for the Hater-in-Chief. This month alone has seen the storming of the Capital Building and Trump’s refusal to attend Joe Biden’s inauguration.
