Residents have been advised by the NCM to stay away from areas at risk of flash floods as Fujairah has already been dealing with major flooding in the streets. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai had instructed the UAE Ministry of Defense to send rescue teams from nearby Emirates such as Dubai and Sharjah to aid Fujairah residents who’s homes and cars have been damaged by the flooding.
