According to a new study, the likes of Almarai, Saudia (Saudi Airlines), iPhone and Dettol are some of the strongest brands in Saudi Arabia.
The results come from polling platform YouGov’s annual BrandIndex, which measures brand perception across a load of different metrics.
According to its 2020 Customer Loyalty rankings Almarai, Saudia, and Al Baik are the three strongest brands across the Kingdom. Following them are the iPhone, mada, Dettol and then Emirates Airlines.

Emirates Airlines was actually one of the biggest movers in the past year. Previously, it was in 15th place (and now it’s at number seven).
Despite flight restrictions due to the pandemic, it’s interesting to see that many people remain loyal to airlines.
It was consumer brands that dominated the list this year, once again highlighting the importance of fast-moving consumer goods and power players in the world of technology (like the iPhone).
Just below the top ten list include brands such as Heinz, Maggi, Fanta, Cheetos and KFC – which may have been bolstered as people seek comfort foods during lockdown.
