A simple but eminently stylish boutique hotel in Central London

The boutique hotel concept has been a burgeoning trend in cities all over the world for some time now, with a host of establishments of ranging size and scale positioning themselves as places to stay for the more discernible traveller after something far more pleasant than a Travelodge, but far less damaging on the wallet than a 5* spot with all the trimmings.

Few cities have embraced this hospitality style as openly as London, with The Nadler one of the more recognised hotels of this particular ilk, fantastically positioned in the capital’s ever-eclectic and cosmopolitan corner of Soho.

Minimalist in its approach but stylish and modern throughout its four floors, the newest London branch of the Nadler chain offers an ideal sanctuary for tourists looking to immerse themselves in the heart of the city at an affordable rate, as well as travelling business types seeking close proximity to surrounding central London offices.

Rooms are a good size throughout the hotel, slickly designed and boasting an in-room kitchen complete with microwave, Nespresso machine and utensils – in short, perfect fodder for the aforementioned travelling businessmen and women who no doubt routinely sweep through the hotel’s doors.

And despite being smack bang in the middle of Soho, the Nadler is nestled down a quiet side street, so this, coupled with the pre-requisite double glazing on room windows, means a quiet night’s sleep is absolutely ensured, whatever night-time or early morning festivities and frolics occur a stone’s throw away.

As the hotel doesn’t include a restaurant, breakfast is available via a simple ordering system through the concierge and courtesy of a neighbouring Italian café. Be warned however, should you wish to use this service, make sure you order in the night before, or you’ll be left to explore Soho in pursuit of morning sustenance. Which, in all honesty, is no bad thing, given the plethora of superb eateries cropping up there over the last few years.
