British brand dunhill marked its return to London Collections: Men this week with a spot of escapism. Creative Director John Ray delivered a collection of classics and while it doesn’t offer anything too out of the ordinary, it still looks fresh enough to make us want to go out and buy the houndstooth driving coat and wear it, all defiant and sweaty, in the face of sharply rising Middle East temperatures. Now if that’s not a seal of approval then we don’t know what is.
