Here is Esquire Weekly: your guide to what to know, what to wear, and where to go.
The Ambassador
Bassel Khaiat steps into a new chapter with Dior as the House’s Fragrance Ambassador for the Middle East, strengthening a relationship already established through his representation of Jonathan Anderson’s collections. Across a career defined by emotional precision and commanding screen presence, the Syrian actor has become one of the region’s most recognisable talents through productions including Bab El Hara, Tango, The Writer, and Al Thaman.

Khaiat’s presence mirrors the modern masculinity shaping the House today: elegant yet instinctive. That same tension exists within the fragrance world imagined by Francis Kurkdjian, where refinement is layered with individuality and emotional depth.
The Sneakers
Prada continues its long-standing dialogue between sport and luxury with the new Prada Court, a sneaker that reinterprets classic tennis silhouettes through a sharper, more refined lens. Since introducing its first performance sneaker for the Luna Rossa crew in 1997, the House has consistently approached footwear through precision, functionality, and understated elegance.

The Prada Court builds on that legacy through reduction rather than excess. A leather upper, rubber cupsole, and classic lacing keep the design familiar, while refined proportions and clean construction give it a distinctly modern feel. Subtle details, including the integrated Prada triangle placed between the upper and sole, reinforce the House’s restrained design language.

The Collection
Emporio Armani revisits the legacy of Armani Jeans with a new capsule collection that celebrates the enduring appeal of denim through a distinctly archival lens. Originally launched in 1981, Armani Jeans became synonymous with understated casualwear, bringing Giorgio Armani’s refined minimalism into a more relaxed, metropolitan wardrobe.

The new capsule reintroduces those signatures for a contemporary audience, balancing vintage references with modern ease. Denim jackets and jeans arrive in light and dark washes inspired by original silhouettes, retaining the clean lines and effortless structure that defined the era. There is a quiet confidence to the collection, one that resists trend-driven excess in favour of timeless simplicity.
The Beach Club
Bvlgari Resort Dubai transforms its beachfront into the Serpenti Beach Club, an immersive extension of one of the Maison’s most enduring symbols. Set across the shores of Jumeira Bay, the concept moves beyond visual branding into atmosphere, translating the fluidity and magnetism of Serpenti into a fully realised environment shaped by light, texture, and movement.

The experience unfolds subtly throughout the day. Curved lines appear across cabanas, loungers, and shaded terraces, while the shifting tones of the Arabian Gulf mirror the changing rhythm of the space from morning calm to golden hour. Rather than overwhelming the setting, the motif is integrated with restraint, allowing the environment to feel refined yet effortless.
Conceived primarily for in-house guests, the Serpenti Beach Club pairs its design narrative with an all-day offering of light bites, fresh fruit, and signature cocktails. The result is less a themed destination and more an expression of Bvlgari’s Italian art of living translated into beachfront form.
The Fragrance
Valentino Beauty expands its Born in Roma universe with Purple Melancholia, a fragrance duo that explores memory, emotion, and individuality through a darker, more introspective lens. Rather than treating melancholy as sentimentality, the collection reframes it as a creative force, shaping fragrances that feel atmospheric, sensual, and quietly expressive.
For Uomo, the composition opens with the sharp brightness of cardamom layered against aromatic lavandin before settling into a warm amber woody structure softened by an unexpected coco accord. The contrast between freshness and depth gives the scent a textured quality that evolves gradually on the skin, lingering with understated intensity.

Visually, the fragrance continues Valentino’s dialogue between heritage and rebellion. The iconic Rockstud bottle is rendered in black leather and deep melancholia purple, transforming the House’s recognisable design codes into something more emotional and instinctive. It is a fragrance built less around convention and more around mood, memory, and personal identity.
This Eid al-Adha Stay
InterContinental The Red Sea Resort approaches Eid al-Adha through the lens of togetherness, creating an island escape designed around shared family experiences and unhurried coastal living. Set on the shores of Shura Island, the resort frames the holiday through a balance of relaxed luxury, outdoor exploration, and multi-generational connection.
Available between 26 and 31 May 2026, the “Stay Four, Pay Three” offer encourages guests to settle into the rhythm of the island rather than simply pass through it. Days move between lagoon kayaking, snorkelling, cycling trails, and open beachfront spaces, while younger guests are immersed in storytelling, crafts, and interactive activities through Planet Trekkers. Evenings bring a softer celebratory energy through oud performances, DJ sets, and Latin dance showcases.
Dining remains central to the experience, with Levantine sharing tables, Arabic sweets, and relaxed Mediterranean meals shaping moments of gathering throughout the stay. The result feels intimate, easy-going, and distinctly connected to the spirit of Eid.
The Breakfast
At Fairmont Dubai, PRONTO reimagines the weekend breakfast through a new Unlimited Breakfast Experience that extends leisurely mornings into the afternoon. Available from Friday to Sunday between 10AM and 4PM, the concept combines unlimited à la carte dining with complimentary pool access, creating a slower and more relaxed approach to weekend hospitality.

The menu balances familiar breakfast comforts with lighter seasonal dishes prepared using ingredients sourced from the hotel’s on-site hydroponic farm. Served within PRONTO’s contemporary, farm-inspired setting, the experience feels intentionally unhurried, encouraging guests to move naturally from breakfast into poolside lounging without the structure of a traditional brunch.
The Travel Escape
JOALI Maldives and JOALI BEING mark Eid al-Adha with a thoughtfully curated island escape centred around connection, wellbeing, and shared family experiences. Across both resorts, the celebration unfolds through a balance of quiet restoration and festive gathering, creating a slower, more intentional approach to luxury travel.

At JOALI Maldives, days move between hammam rituals, marine-inspired children’s activities, Boduberu performances, and open-air cinema evenings beneath the stars. JOALI BEING approaches the holiday through mindful living, with canopy breakfasts, sensory workshops, sunset gatherings, and private dining experiences designed around comfort and togetherness.
Available through special three- and four-night stays, both offers include seaplane transfers, gourmet breakfast, and family-friendly benefits for children.
Together, the two islands create an Eid experience that feels immersive yet effortless, shaped around reflection, celebration, and meaningful moments shared across generations.
The Brunch
Sexy Fish Dubai introduces the Night Edition of More Than Brunch, reworking its signature daytime concept into a Thursday evening experience that moves seamlessly between dining and nightlife. Beginning at 8PM and unfolding until late, the format combines share-style dining, curated cocktails, and DJ-led entertainment within the restaurant’s distinctly theatrical setting.

The menu centres around vibrant sushi, sashimi, and signature mains designed for the table, paired with beverage packages that progress alongside the energy of the night. As the evening builds, the atmosphere shifts naturally from refined dinner service into a more immersive after-dark experience, culminating in the opening of the Candy Room from 11PM onwards.
Rather than separating dinner from nightlife, Sexy Fish allows the two to merge into a single fluid experience where music, movement, and dining evolve together. The experience feels less like a traditional brunch adaptation and more like a carefully choreographed night out.
