Here is Esquire Weekly: your guide to what to know, what to wear, and where to go.

The Eyewear

When two style icons meet, heritage is renewed through a shared creative vision. That’s the premise behind the new Dolce&Gabbana and Ray-Ban collaboration, a collection that speaks fluent Italian design codes and contemporary culture in equal measure. United by strong roots and authentic self-expression, the partnership reworks one of eyewear’s most enduring silhouettes: the Aviator.

As Ray-Ban approaches the 90th anniversary of the style, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana bring a distinctly archival lens to the Shooter and Outdoorsman II. The Shooter is bold by design, defined by a sculptural shape, a mother-of-pearl brow bar, and a built-in cigarette holder that nods to sophisticated vintage references. The Outdoorsman II leans quieter but no less assertive, with a graphic brow bar, lightweight metal frame, and a studied use of negative space. It is timeless design, recalibrated through modern restraint.

The Collection

LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza 2026 captures the vibrancy of summer as both a destination and a state of mind. Inspired by the iconic Paula’s boutique on the Spanish island, the collection translates holiday ease into city-ready dressing through craft-led basketry, crochet, and relaxed silhouettes.

The spirit is sun-drenched and deliberately unpolished. Draped silhouettes, layered shirts, loose trousers, and textural dresses are styled with summer bags and the Featherlight Puzzle, reworked with a new shoulder top handle. It is an idea of summer that moves effortlessly between sand, street, and interior spaces.

Captured by artist and photographer Jack Pierson, the campaign embraces a diaristic quality. His saturated, imperfect frames feel like fleeting memories: casually observed, never staged. Beach scenes, interiors, and still life compositions place bags as characters among fruit, water, and rock. The result is a collection that feels lived-in, sensual, and instinctively free.

The Campaign

For Spring/Summer 2026, Ounass presents As You Are, a season defined by individuality, introspection, and the courage to embrace authenticity. It reflects a wider shift across fashion: a moment shaped by creative debuts and the increasing pressure of scrutiny across major houses.

In this landscape, the most resonant work is quietly confident rather than performative. The campaign positions creativity as something personal rather than declarative, reinforcing the humanity behind design. It suggests that disruption does not need volume to be significant.

As You Are captures a mood where fashion becomes less about spectacle and more about presence.

The Collaboration

A meeting of two philosophies defines the UltraFino Maserati x Bianchet collaboration, a limited edition of 100 Flying Tourbillon timepieces unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2026 in Geneva. The project marks 100 years of the Trident, translating automotive performance and Swiss haute horlogerie into a shared language of precision.

Maserati, founded in Bologna in 1914 and shaped by its Modena legacy, brings its ethos of performance, comfort, and Italian style. The Nettuno V6 engine, born from Formula 1-derived innovation, anchors its engineering identity. Bianchet, rooted in Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds, approaches watchmaking through the Golden Ratio, where proportion and beauty are structural principles rather than decoration.

The watch will be sold in the official Bianchet flagship store and from its distributors. For more information, visit bianchet.com

The Fragrance

Henry Jacques returns with the third edition of its Collection de l’Atelier, a trio of fragrances built around its own Rose de Mai harvest in the South of France. Limited to 500 pieces and presented in a dedicated Boîte à Parfum chest, it marks the final presentation of the Maison’s HJ rose extract in this format.

The story begins with a discovery so rare it reshaped the Maison’s understanding of the flower itself. Over five years, an ecosystem was carefully nurtured, guided by traditional cultivation methods, hand harvesting, and a commitment to natural balance. Each harvest revealed a new olfactive dimension, turning the rose into a living archive of variation.

The Night Out

Chez Wam introduces Steak Frites Nights in partnership with Carnistore, a stripped-back dining concept built around precision, flavour, and shared tables. Launching on select Wednesdays through July 2026, the experience is intentionally limited in rhythm and format.

The menu focuses on three cuts: Flank Angus MB4, Tenderloin Angus MB4, and Ribeye Wagyu MB6–7, each served with classic sauces including peppercorn, mustard cream, beef jus, and béarnaise. A side of green salad and French fries completes the offering.

It is a return to essentials: quality ingredients, considered preparation, and a format designed for gathering. No excess, no distraction, just the structure of a meal built around appetite and timing. Esquire Weekly recommends.

The Movie

Michael arrives in cinemas across the region on 22 April, tracing the life of Michael Jackson from his early days with the Jackson Five to his rise as one of the most influential entertainers in history.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film explores both performance and private life, charting the evolution of an artist whose ambition reshaped global pop culture. It moves between early breakthroughs and defining solo moments, offering a portrait of creative drive and scale rarely seen on screen.

Starring Jaafar Jackson in his feature film debut, Michael positions itself as a cinematic retelling of legacy, tracing the origins of an icon whose influence continues to define entertainment. Esquire Weekly recommends.

The Restaurant

SUSHISAMBA Dubai introduces SAMBA SOCIAL, a Thursday night ritual designed to transform midweek into an immersive social experience. From 6PM until late, the venue shifts into a high-energy environment where music, movement, and dining intersect.

A live DJ sets the tone while percussion and samba performances build rhythm across the evening. The atmosphere is designed as progression rather than pause, carrying guests from dinner into late-night energy.

The menu reflects SUSHISAMBA’s signature fusion of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian cuisine, designed to match the intensity of the setting. Set against skyline views, SAMBA SOCIAL positions itself a weekly ritual of sound, flavour, and spectacle.

The Sneakers

Golden Goose launches Marathon Speed, a new silhouette inspired by the Golden Era of the Seventies and reimagined as a low-sole evolution of its Marathon style. Designed as a genderless sneaker, it channels athletic heritage with a handcrafted, vintage finish.

The design arrives in three colourways: leopard-print ponyhair, tobacco suede, and black nappa leather, each detailed with trekking-inspired laces, signature star motifs, and a distressed aesthetic that reflects the brand’s visual language.

Built for movement and resilience, Marathon Speed emphasises traction, stability, and forward motion. Through Golden Goose’s Co-Creation experience, each pair can be personalised with laces, charms, and embellishments, extending the design into a fully individual object.
