Here is Esquire Weekly: your guide to the best things to do, from what to know and what to wear to where to go.

The Look

At the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer launch and fan event in Amsterdam, Tom Holland stepped out in a sharp, layered Balenciaga look.

He wore a relaxed double-shirt, pairing a crisp white cotton poplin overshirt over a classic white collared shirt and black tie, finished with low-rise tailored black wool trousers.

The Collaboration

Lacoste and Alpine unite for an exclusive collaboration that celebrates their shared commitment to innovation, performance and timeless French design. Inspired by the pioneering legacies of René Lacoste and Jean Rédélé, the partnership introduces the one-off Beware of the Crocodile: Alpine Lacoste A290 Rallye, alongside a limited-edition capsule collection that draws from the worlds of motorsport and sport.

Developed through a creative exchange between the two French houses, the bespoke rally car reimagines Alpine’s high-performance electric platform through Lacoste’s signature design language. The accompanying collection blends technical craftsmanship with sporting elegance and everyday versatility. Rounding out the collaboration is Le Test, a campaign film starring Lacoste ambassadors Pierre Niney and Pierre Gasly, capturing the playful spirit and pursuit of performance that unite both brands.

The Sports Event

If there’s one sporting event to add to your summer calendar, it’s E1 Monaco 2026. Taking over Monaco’s iconic coastline on 17–18 July, the world’s first all-electric powerboat championship brings together high-speed racing, waterfront entertainment and premium hospitality for a weekend where sport, innovation and spectacle collide.

With 10 teams competing on electric RaceBird boats, the championship showcases the future of motorsport on water while championing cleaner marine technologies and the protection of coastal ecosystems. Sanctioned by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), E1 continues to redefine what electric racing can look like, both on and off the water.

Whether you’re a motorsport enthusiast or simply looking for the summer’s most exciting waterfront experience, this is one event you won’t want to miss. Esquire Middle East will be on the ground in Monaco, bringing you exclusive coverage from the race weekend.

The Café

Café du Port is making summer a little sweeter. Throughout July, guests dining in or ordering takeaway will receive a complimentary soft serve with every order, adding an extra reason to stop by the French-inspired café.

Set against the relaxed charm of the Côte d’Azur, Café du Port pairs leisurely mornings with a menu of wholesome breakfast bowls, freshly pressed juices, classic omelettes and comforting oeufs en cocotte. To finish, guests can choose between two complimentary frozen treats: a creamy pistachio-topped soft serve or a lighter 0% sugar Riz au Lait option.

Whether you’re grabbing breakfast on the go or settling in for a slow morning, it’s a simple summer perk that’s worth taking advantage of.

The Takeover

Dolce&Gabbana returns to Marbella for Summer 2026 with the DG Resort creative takeover, transforming the iconic La Cabane beach club into a Mediterranean escape inspired by the brand’s Italian heritage.

Set along the Costa del Sol, La Cabane’s pool area, sea-view terrace and restaurant are reimagined through the house’s signature Blu Mediterraneo print. The striking contrast of white and blue, inspired by traditional Southern Italian ceramics, brings the spirit of an Italian summer holiday to the Marbella coastline.

The experience extends beyond the beach, with an exclusive pop-up boutique showcasing Dolce&Gabbana apparel, accessories and Dolce&Gabbana Casa creations. Guests can also discover the new Dolci Room, a dedicated pastry space decorated with the vibrant motifs of the Sicilian Cart print, celebrating the artistry and indulgence of Italian craftsmanship.

The New Menu

Almost a decade after opening, 21grams enters a new chapter with a refreshed menu that celebrates the Balkan bistro’s roots while embracing a more creative and contemporary approach. Led by founder Stasha Toncev and Executive Chef Milan Jurkovic, the new offering introduces a two-part format: The Roots and Test Kitchen.

At the heart of the experience is The Roots, a collection of signature dishes and guest favourites that have defined 21grams over the years. Expect familiar comforts including the pindjur eggs, Balkan breakfast, mezze selection, cevapi and sarma, alongside the beloved chocolate hazelnut baklava now reimagined with olive oil ice cream.

Complementing these classics is The Test Kitchen, a more experimental space where the team explores seasonal ingredients, new techniques and unexpected flavour combinations. Balancing fire-led grill plates, lighter creations and nostalgic desserts, the menu reflects a restaurant that honours its heritage while continuing to evolve.

For those who have made 21grams a favourite, the new menu feels familiar yet refreshed, offering another reason to return to one of Dubai’s most loved neighbourhood bistros.

The Summer Vibe

This summer, Jou Jou Brasserie brings the effortless spirit of the Mediterranean to Dubai, with long afternoons, seasonal flavours, refreshing cocktails and shared moments at the heart of the experience. Set within Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, the brasserie introduces a new summer experience designed to capture the charm of Mediterranean dining, from a daily aperitivo ritual to leisurely afternoons by the coast.

Jou Jou Social channels the relaxed energy of Italian aperitivo culture, inviting guests to unwind daily from 3pm to 7pm with a selection of cocktails, wines and sharing plates. The menu features Mediterranean-inspired favourites including Focaccia Caprese with locally grown tomatoes, Stracciatella and basil pesto, Arancini al Ragù, fried calamari with lemon aioli and Gambas al Ajillo with lobster butter and Basilicata Crusco peppers.

To complement the experience, guests can enjoy classic cocktails including the Negroni, Margarita and Aperol Spritz, alongside a curated wine selection available by the glass or bottle.

The Cultural Destination

Cadillac Al Mansour Automotive brought its Block Party concept to Egypt for the first time, transforming its flagship showroom at Park St. East, New Cairo, into a new cultural destination where automotive design met music, creativity and community.

The inaugural event marked the beginning of an ongoing series designed to connect Cadillac with Egypt’s creative scene through shared experiences. For one evening, the showroom moved beyond its traditional role, becoming an immersive space where guests explored the brand’s latest models, including the all-electric Escalade IQ, OPTIQ and the iconic 1994 Cadillac Eldorado, alongside curated moments of music, culture and hospitality.

Bringing together leading creatives, artists, entrepreneurs and cultural figures from across Egypt, the Block Party reflected Cadillac’s evolving identity: one that extends beyond the road and into the worlds of design, innovation and contemporary culture.
