Ever watched or read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and thought: “Hey, that looks like a good time.” Well, thanks to the news that Dubai is opening up the world’s first candy museum, residents and visitors will soon be able to experience it… without the complete disregard for child safety that is.
Rest assured, the soon-to-be-opened ‘Museum of Candy’ will be light on Oompa Lumpas but heavy on sweets, treats and saccharine things to eat.
While the exact location and date of opening are still unknown, information on recently launched Social profiles allude to a sugar-induced, sweet-tooth’s paradise spread across 15 different themed room, allowing guests to fill up on free-flowing candy, dip into in a cotton candy bath, and splash around in a gummy bear pool.
Naturally the Museum of Candy will not just be for kids. Grown-ups can let out their inner child with rooms dedicated to some sweet (sweet) nostalgia from the past. Plus, the chance to learn about the history and science behind your favourite creations.
