Known for celebrating Lebanese and global talent, BIAF Awards honours big names across music, film, art, journalism, entrepreneurship, and humanitarian work.
Since launching in 2010, it has become one of the region’s most anticipated cultural events and this year promises another unforgettable celebration.
This year’s edition is dedicated to Lebanese poet and philosopher Saiid Akl, paying tribute to his lasting impact on Lebanese culture and identity.
The two-day festival kicks off on August 2 with an Opening Ceremony and a special panel discussion featuring this year’s honourees. On August 3, the iconic Red Carpet rolls out at 6:00 PM, followed by the live Awards Ceremony at 8:30 PM broadcasted across 11 TV channels in Lebanon and the region.
Following the monumental success of BIAF 2024, which took place at the historic Roman Ruins in Downtown Beirut, last year’s edition paid tribute to 24 influential Lebanese figures under the slogan “I Am Lebanese.” Honourees included Nour Arida, Karen Wazen, Assi El Hallani, Nadine Nassib Njeim, Hadii Sharara, and the esteemed institutions such as Annahar among many, each recognized for elevating Lebanon’s image in the world.
This year, BIAF continues its mission of honouring those who shape the world through creativity, courage, and purpose, shining a light on the stories that inspire and the legacies that endure.
Presented by SHINE Entertainment, BIAF 2025 is held in collaboration with Solidere, Turkish Airlines, and HIMO Jewelry.
