- 2019’s most expensive penthouse in Dubai has just been sold to a private buyer
- The penthouse is located at Omniyat’s One Palm project on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah
- The sale come two years after Omniyat sold its first penthouse in the building (for AED102 million in 2017)
- The company has said there have already been enquiries for a third more expensive penthouse
Omniyat – them who create seriously luxury properties – seem to have a decent business model: ‘build it, and they will come’.
A good example is the penthouse at the company’s recent One Palm project, that just sold for a whopping AED73 million.
Omniyat’s One Palm property is one of its most impressive, bagging two world records in the world for the property. Perhaps a third record is on the cards here, too.
Back in 2017, the company sold its first One Palm penthouse for AED102 million, becoming the world’s most expensive apartment sold in all of 2019. Two years on, and it looks to be happening again.

Included in the AED73 million is a 1,852-square-metre penthouse, fitted with landscaped roof terraces (yes, two of them), and infinity pools designed by Vladimir Dijurovic.
The property makes the most of its landscaping on the roof to create a sense that both the indoor and outdoor areas blend together seamlessly. According to Dijurovic, it should mean that owners will feel like they are on their own private island in the middle of the city.

Mahdi Amjad, Omniyat Executive Chairman and CEO said: ‘The space is truly incomparable, it is the epitome of luxury perfectly balanced with modern elegance complementing the surroundings of One Palm.’
According to Amjad, the penthouses have proven very popular. Omniyat has said that has been lots of interest in building further penthouses, with enquiries on whether or not it will be building a third at One Palm.
