No, this is not two pictures of Dwayne Johnson. Really, we mean it.
The 49-year old star of Jungle Cruise has found his exact double, and he’s a Patrol Liutenant named Eric Fields in Alabama in the US.
Johnson shared a side-by-side photo of himself with the Morgan county Sherrif’s Office employee, in which both buff, bald men smile while wearing aviator glasses.
“Guy on the left is way cooler,” wrote The Rock on his Instragram.
“Stay safe brother and thank you for your service. I need to hear all your “Rock stories” because I KNOW you got ’em,” he added.
The look-alike fields first went viral two weeks ago on the Sherrif’s Office Facebook, in which the page was flooded with comments that the man looked like Dwayne Johnson himself.
Fields, 37, took the news in good humour, even going to a local Walmart to do a meet and greet.
“Tyler is one of their many hardworkers and it was great to meet him and some of his coworkers!” the Sherrif’s Office page wrote, posting a photo of Fields and the fan. The post has been liked 3,000 times.
“I’ve been called The Rock and Vin Diesel’s love child,” he told AL.com. “I go along with it. It’s humorous. It’s flattering. It could be worse people, I guess,” he teased of the “running joke” in the area.
Fields added that he love to connect with the public in his local area, and his Rock look-alike status just makes that even easier.
“We really love to get involved with the community, cut up and be neighbors — not just enforcement,” he told AL.com.
