The list now stands at 28 countries that can avoid quarantine

Abu Dhabi’s Green List now stands at 28 countries, with six leaving the list today.

Armenia, Austria, Israel, Italy, Maldives and the US are leaving the list starting today, according to Etihad Airways via the Khaleej Times, meaning that travellers from those countries will need to quarantine upon arrival into Abu Dhabi.

Those still on the Green List include Albania, Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Malta, Mauritius, Moldova, New Zealand, Poland, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Ukraine.

There are four countries, Bahrain, Greece, Serbia and Seychelles, which have been categorized as ‘travel corridors’, meaning that those coming from those countries that are fully vaccinate will not be required to quarantine upon arrival.

Passengers flying in from countries not on the green list are required to wear a medically approved wristband and quarantine for a period of seven days if they are vaccinated, 10 days if they are not vaccinated.

To be considered fully vaccinated, you need to have received the final dose at least 28 days before the flight, and for it to appear in the Al Hosn app.

Starting on 20 August, vaccinations taken outside the UAE will be recognized according to Ethiad, including Sinopharm, Sinovac, Janssen, Pfizer, Sputnik V, Oxford-AstraZeneca and Moderna.
