The World Islands has long been one of the most exciting destinations on Dubai’s horizon. Now there’s even more reason to get excited.
Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas just announced a brand new hotel to open in Dubai’s World Islands. The new hotel is the first resort in the ‘South America’ section of the World Islands.
Located in the Arabian Gulf and four kilometers away from Dubai shore, the hotel has the ultimate city sky view.

The resort features 70 luxurious suites and beach and pool villas, giving visitors a private and memorable break.
The hotel also offers guests in-room spa treatments, a gym, and a kid’s club, convenient for every family looking to escape the big city and relax.
Because of the resort’s tropical and exotic location, freshly caught seafood will be the go-to cuisine. The hotel will have both an outdoor Mediterranean and an Arabic-Indian-focused restaurant.
“Showcasing Anantara’s authentic luxury while maintaining a tropical island vibe, the resort is a unique proposition for this location. Guests will be able to experience the wonder of Dubai and the ambiance of an island sanctuary, all in this stunning new Anantara resort,” Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, the company that owns Anantara, described the project.
Expected to open by the end of the year, this resort will be the sixth Anantara resort in the UAE itself. Also, plans are in discussion on opening a resort with overwater villas in Ras Al Khaimah.
