If you’re in Abu Dhabi and planning to host visitors this summer, or are from outside and planning to visit the wonderful people of the UAE, we just got another important update.
There’s now 32 countries on the UAE capital’s green list, meaning visitors do not have to self-quarantine upon arrival.
The UK and Tajikistan were both removed from the list recently, meaning all those arriving from the UK, whether resident or visitor, will be forced to quarantine for a period of five days if vaccinated or 10 days if unvaccinated.
Austria, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Italy and Norway have been added, while two others have been removed. Read more here.
This only applies to Abu Dhabi of course, with each emirate taking its own course in the fight against Covid-19. This does not affect travel to Dubai.
Tourists can also now get vaccinated in Abu Dhabi. Read more here.
