Global Expo events have long offered a glipse at what the future can expect, from color televisions, touch screens, to the telephone.
Dubai’s long-awaited Expo 2020 offers some tantalizing teases at what the future of the human race may involve.
Let’s start with the big one—we’re not saying it’s aliens, but it’s aliens.
Yes, the event features the world’s largest radio satellite that can detect alien life.
It is joined by some other very intriguing features as well, including a 4D ‘bioprinter’ that can reproduce live cells.
Wait—can you get cloned at Expo 2020? I mean, no, you can’t, but like, it was fun to wonder that for a second.
And ok sorry, isn’t the 4th dimension time? Is this a time-travelling bioprinter? So many questions…

“Expo 2020 is for explorers, foodies, and culture enthusiasts, for children, for grandparents, for entrepreneurs, inventors and business travelers, for the casual tourist and for the curious who want to experience the future – now,” says Vice President of Market Strategy and Sales.
The Expo Essentials tour will introduce the world in one place, visitors can expect to see including the aforementioned largest radio satellite that can detect alien life signals as well as a 4D ‘bioprinter’ that can reproduce live cells. On the food and entertainment side, there will be a vast range of international cuisines, world fusion music and orchestral performances.

There’s the Expo for Couples which hosts all the romantic offerings such as magical light shows at the Al Wasl Plaza. The children, Mum, Dad, even Grandma can enjoy the Expo for Families tour which offers an all ages education experience.
There’s even a robot band performing and they’re said to be Beethoven inspired. Wonder what the 5th Symphony would sound like in autotune?
Visitors can also gaze in awe at architectural gems such as the falcon shaped UAE pavilion while on the Architecture and Design Journey which blends nature with architecture while the real foodies can try new recipes of the future prepared by world-class chefs.
If you’d rather opt for the healthier option or just want to burn off those calories you just put on then the Health and Wellness Journey is for you as visitors can try the latest superfoods, attend yoga classes in Jubilee Park and more.
