Saudi singer Hamza Hawsawi and NEOM feature on the cover first international men’s magazine to publish in the Kingdom

The iconic men’s lifestyle magazine brand, Esquire, has made history with the launch of the inaugural issue of Esquire Saudi — becoming the first international men’s magazine to be published within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Celebrating a bright new future for the country’s artistic, creative and fashion industries, the print magazine will be published quarterly in Saudi Arabia by ITP Media Saudi, and will help usher in a new chapter for publishing in the luxury fashion and creative industries in the Kingdom.

The debut cover of the issue dedicated to Saudi Arabia was revealed via its social media channels, and featured the Saudi singer Hamza Hawsawi in an epic photoshoot against the spectacular backdrop of NEOM, the $500 billion city of the future, a key component of the kingdom’s Vision 2030 programme.

The opportunity to launch Esquire Saudi was made possible due to the implementation of Vision 2030 – the country’s bold blueprint set out to achieve long-term goals and expectations built upon the Kingdom’s unique strengths and capabilities.

Speaking ahead of the launch Her Highness Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud, a leading member of the Ministry of Culture’s Fashion Commission said: “I am excited that fashion publishing in the Kingdom increases opportunities for cultural professionals and will lead to more jobs for writers, photographers, stylists, art directors and graphic designers.”

The launch of Esquire Saudi will be accompanied by a series of exclusive private events throughout the year including exclusive dinners and workshops from global experts in the fashion industry.

The magazine will be bi-lingual; in addition to being on main newsstands copies of the print magazines will be available at select hotels, salons and spas, whilst also being distributed exclusively to VIP readers.
