You’ll get delicious Middle Eastern and North African dishes with a spectacular view

As the weather cools, now is the perfect time to make the most of one of the city’s most beautiful terraces. And one of the most picturesque in the city, is now open at Ninive.

The stunning Middle Eastern restaurant has reopened for the winter and it’s promising to whisk you away to the land of 1,001 Arabian nights.

Ninive is ready to welcome guests back to its traditional yet luxurious surroundings, with low, comfy seating, twinkling lights and super views of the DIFC skyline.

The restaurant at Jumeirah Emirates Towers serves up a range of delicious Arabic and North African favourites, with the menu inspired by the flavours of Morocco, Iran, Iraq and Turkey.

Dishes on the menu include Shorbat addas soup, Ninive fattoush salad, quinoa and spiced mango, zaalouk (aubergine with tomato, coriander, cumin and smoked paprika), chicken pastille, spiced beef kibbeh, tamarind chic

ken, roasted pumpkin with spiced tomato jam, lobster tagine and more. Signature dishes to share include a mixed grill, tashreeb (spiced lamb shoulder) and couscous royal with vegetables, chicken, merguez and lamb.

Desserts are also delightful starring Arabic pastries, carrot slice baklava, almond kunafa and a rose and raspberry mille-feuille.

There’s a selection of teas, as well as a licensed bar. Shisha is also served.

Surrounded by palm trees and lush foliage, the experience at Ninive is a total treat and an escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy financial district.

The al fresco setting is inspired by a beautifully appointed caravanserai, and all the interiors are bespoke.

For a delightful evening under the stars in a relaxed yet luxurious setting, Ninive should be on your must-visit list this winter.
