Dubai will create a city-wide running track next month, as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
The challenge starts on October 30 and runs until November 28. That gives you 30 days to get fit, and enjoy a host of virtual and physical activities and events.
That includes runners, of all ages and levels. To take part in the Dubai Run you just need to register at dubairun.com and choose your running routine.
There are six 28-day running programs based around a variety of iconic Dubai settings. Distances range from two kilometers or ten kilometers, and each programs was designed by a training coach.
This year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge is the first to combine virtual and physical events. Expect a packed calendar of wellbeing and fitness classes, with social distancing measures in place for physical events.
Launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoun, the Crown Prince of Dubai and the Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, the Challenge aims to make Dubai the most active city in the world.
Residents are encouraged to engage in 30-minutes of exercise every day for 30 days during the month of October. For more information, head over to timeoutdubai.com.
