Celebrations will mark the 88th anniversary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the dates for its National Day 2020 holiday.

The ministry hass aid that public sector employees can expect to enjoy Wednesday the 23rd and Thursday 24th of September on holiday. For the private sector, that will take place on Wednesday, September 23.

Saudi Arabia celebrates National Day every 23 September, to commemorate the birth of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by royal decree from King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud in 1932. It was made a national holiday back in 2005.

This year will mark the 88th Saudi National Day.

You can expect celebratory flags to go up across the UAE over those days, as we’d also imagine Dubai’s Burj Khalifa might light up in celebration once again.
