Reports of wet weather crossing the Emirate

The thing about the desert is that rain is not one of those things you expect to see a lot of, especially in the summer.

The summer temps may be reaching upwards of 50-degrees, this week sees a rare downpour of rain in the Emirate of Dubai. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) had announced earlier this week that low clouds will appear over the east coast and that rainfall was likely and, that very much has come true with workers based in the Al Awir area sharing pictures on social media of their rainy offices.

The Emirate experienced freak weather back in March, when an electric storm took over the skies, but it is unusal to see rain in the UAE during summertime. But one thing’s for sure, as you can see in the video below when it rains in Dubai, it pours.
