It doubles as luxury yacht and rescue vessel in times of crisis

While the world is slowly opening up again, there’s still lots of time spent at home. Which is naturally a chore; unless you are on Strand Craft’s new Miami Superyacht.

The superyacht was partially inspired by extreme weather conditions; or Hurricane Dorian’s devastation of the Bahamas.

As such the Miami is built not just for luxury adventures, but can double as a rescue vessel for emergencies in areas that may have experienced natural disasters.

The ship is fully-loaded with two 58-foot tenders, two Mercedes G65 AMG off-road trucks and two onboard helicopters. The Miami is more than 200 metres long, and can accommodate a crew of 44 staff and 20 guests.

The master suite sits at the top of the vessel, and gives guests a 180-degree view around them. There’s also a gym, spa, office, library, bottle cellar and bar.

The concept superyacht uses a hybrid power system that utilizes three elecfric azimuth pods driven by fuel cell generators and should hit speeds of 20-knots.
