Lockdown life is proving that even billionaires like Warren Buffett are quarantining just like us regular people. The CEO revealed during Berkshire Hathaway’s annual meeting that he hasn’t had a haircut or worn a tie in 7 weeks.
“It’s been seven weeks since I’ve had a haircut,” the billionaire investor and Berkshire CEO said during the virtual meeting, livestreamed by Yahoo Finance.
“It’s been more than seven weeks since I put on a tie or anything,” Buffett continued. “Just a question of which sweatsuit I wear.”
However things aren’t looking so good for his company which has reported a massive net loss of nearly $50 billion in the first quarter of 2020.
“It turned out I was wrong,” Buffett said about his decision to invest in American, Delta, United, and Southwest. “Our airline position was a mistake.”
