UFC is set to return to our TV screens at home on May 9. UFC President Dana White has said that UFC 249 will be back on May 9. But he’s not going to be happy with just one event.
UFC 249 will be headlined by Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje, will be held in Florida, USA.
“The Ferguson vs. Gaethje fight is one of the most violent fights you will see,” White told ESPN on Instagram Live. “I can guarantee that. This fight is going to be incredible. The winner will fight Khabib for the title. This is for the interim. 100 percent (the winner fights Khabib).”

White revealed that UFC 249 would be the first of three events that will take place in a week-long span.
The events will be held on Wednesday, May 13, and Saturday, May 16, making three events in eight days. He later added that a fourth event would take place on May 23.
Speaking about getting the go ahead on May 9, White said: “Listen I’m not stopping. I have this thing figured out. The reality is can it be done? Yes, it can be done. It’s just very expensive. It’s very expensive and I’m willing to spend the money to do it.
