Paco Rabanne launched menswear in Paris at their spring/summer 2020 runway show

Under designer Julien Dossena’s direction, Parisian house Paco Rabanne has gone from relative outlier to one of the most anticipated shows of fashion week seasons.

Known for a distinctly modern take on the house’s signature chainmail, which brought the label to prominence in the 1960s, he now adds menswear to his offering, with floral-print tailoring and a collaboration with seminal graphic designer Peter Saville. Ahead of the global launch for Spring 2020 Dossena describes today’s man as “a bit of a dandy who feels very free to mix proportions, fabrics and prints in a unique way.”
