007 reporting for duty

The first poster of Bond 25 movie No Time to Die is finally out and Daniel Craig is once again sporting a very sharp suit.

The poster was officially revealed on the movie’s Twitter account in celebration of James Bond Day (October 5). The poster doesn’t reveal much and sees Craig’s Bond in a dapper tuxedo in front of a turquoise blue wall.

The movie will see Craig reprise his role as the 007 agent for the final time and is directed by True Detective director Cary Joji Fukunaga.

The film will follow Lashana Lynch as a young MI6 agent who takes on the 007 codename post Bond’s retirement. Craig then comes out of retirement “onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology,” according to the movie’s official synopsis.

Oscar winner Rami Malek is also making his debut in the franchise as a Bond villain.

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, Malek has shed some light on the role he will be playing as the new Bond villain. He has said that he refused to let the character identiy with a particular “religion or ideology”.

This is what he had to say on being cast as the villain in the popular 007 series. “I will be making sure Mr Bond does not have an easy ride in this, his 25th outing. See you all soon.”

During the live stream in Jamaica, it was also confirmed that Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw will return as M and Q, with Naomie Harris coming back as Moneypenny. Lea Seydoux will once again take up the role of Madeleine Swann character from 2015’s Spectre.

The movie will be released in the UK on 3 April 2020 and 8 April 2020 in the US. #Bond25 #NoTimeToDie “
