Two Middle East bars have made it to the preliminary list of the World’s Best Bars 2019 (51-100). Coming in at number 62 is Dubai’s Zuma and Beirut’s Central Station has made the list as well.
Beirut bar Central Station in the capital city’s most trendy neighbourhood, Mar Mikhael, has made it to the world’s best bars list, at number 73.
The World’s 50 Best Bars is organised by William Reed Business Media, the same people behind the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
In 2018, the Beirut-based bar made it high up the list to number 27. The name is based on the Beirut train station, which is located near the Central Station Boutique.
