The dating app has made a choose-your-own-adventure TV series

Tinder has just finished shooting an original TV series, which will take the form of a choose-your-own-adventure series.

Set against the apocalypse, the adventure sees viewers/players ask the question, “who would you like to spend your last night alive with?”

The show will be uploaded directly to the Tinder app and will use the app’s swiping feature as part of the adventure. Users will swipe either left or right to approve or reject potential matches, and make decisions as to how the adventure will progress.

The six-episode show was shot vertically, making it perfect for smartphone viewers.

Production wrapped in August in Mexico City. The project is helmed by music video director and actress Karena Evans, who has previously directed videos for Drake.

This is the app’s first attempt at producing original content. Last October it launched a website called ‘Swipe Life’ with original content including articles and videos about relationships.

While the show will first be distributed via Tinder app, sources close to the project say that it will appear on a future streaming service as well.
