Anybody who is anybody is talking about the upcoming Abu Dhabi fight between undefeated UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and American fighter Dustin Poirier. Given that this is the biggest UFC fight in Abu Dhabi’s history, it’s a pretty big deal for residents and visitors alike.
Khabib Nurmagomedov is the current favourite to win with 27 wins, 0 losses and one of the most talked about bash-ups in UFC history, against Irishman Conor McGregor. It is also his first fight back in the ring after alsost a year since his ban after the UFC 229 fight in October last year.
The main card for UFC 242 on September 7 will begin at 10pm UAE time, with the event kicking off around 6pm the same evening.
The fight night also includes three other lightweight fights, including Edson Barboza vs. Paul Felder and a heavyweight bout between Curtis Blaydes and Shamil Abdurakhimov.
