There’s a new service coming to town that will free meals to people who are ‘beautiful’. According to Arabian Business, this new platform will be geered towards models who get free meals to help boost the “ambiance” of restaurants.
The ‘Model Restaurant’ initiative is the brainchild of Italian entrepreneur Giovanbattista Cimmino, who also founded London-based social media agency SocialAsk and Remodels, a modelling agency.
So you might wonder how does one gets deemed “beautiful”? Models can sign up by following the private account @ModelRestaurant and later send a direct message with their location.
The account will then pick a restaurant near the model’s location who are will to wine and dine them for free all in return for “improving” the restaurant’s ambiance with their presence and sharing content on social media.
Arabian Business also reports that Cimmino said that the initiative is currently being used by 21 “top” restaurants in London, as well as 12 in New York City.
“We only work with fine dining restaurants and we are in contact with some top restaurants in Dubai – about 6,” he said. “We are planning to launch Model Restaurant (Middle East) in December.”
