Remember when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were declared public ememies one and two for using Elton John’s private jet to go on holiday? He’s finally addressed those claims.
The prince has launched a new partnership that will encourage sustainable travel— Travalyst.
It is a new movement that will ”encourage sustainable tourism practices”.
According to The Independent: “Travalyst will call on travel companies including Booking.com, Chinese travel agent Ctrip, Skyscanner, TripAdvisor and Visa, to raise awareness of sustainable travel and how consumers can use travel for good.”
At the recent event the Duke of Sussex said: “I spend 99% of my life travelling the world by commercial. Occasionally there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure that my family are safe.”
He also added: “We could all do better. While no one is perfect, we all have a responsibility for our own individual impact. The question is what we do to balance it out.”
The duo will next be seen on their scheduled visit to Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa with their son Archie and a separate visit to Botswana, Angola and Malawi in a couple of weeks.
