There’s one lucky country that’s been picked from the scores of other enteries as the world’s sexiest accent.
With Irish A-listers like Colin Farrell, Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan having got a vast fanbase all over the world, it was chosen with good reason.
The accent was picked according to a survey of 5,000 men and women conducted by OnePoll. In last year’s survey, Ireland came in third— below New Zealand and South Africa.
This isn’t a new find either. Almost two years ago, Ranker also came to the same conclusion that the sexiest accent in the world was the Irish accent.
But DublinLive has raised a very valid point. Which Irish accent is it that won the vote? They were left wondering if it was the Dublin accent that swung the vote or the Cork accent or one of the many others that exist in Ireland.
A spokesman for OnePoll said that Castleknock native, actor Colin Farrell, was one of the main reasons why the Irish rose to the top once again.
According to OnePoll, the top ten world’s sexiest accents of 2019 are:
