Drake‘s love for rare watches is well known. He was recently seen in Toronto wearing his new Patek Philippe Aquanaut – which was introduced at Baselworld in 2018.
Drake, like most hip-hop celebrities is automatically drawn to a watch that stands out. And this one definitely does. The $100,000 watch immediately catches the eye, especially given its bright orange strap.
The strap according to Patek Philippe is made from a special composite material that’s extra resisitant to salt water, UV radiation and normal wear and tear.
Even in the 90s, it was the first ever Patek Philippe watch to feature a rubber strap. It’s the latest version of the watch that was first introduced to the world in 1997.
The watch has a self-winding flyback chronograph movement and the orange displays contrasts against the black dial. It comes with two straps: one orange, and one black.
