Nicki Minaj has sent fans into a fluster, with fresh hints that she is both engaged and pregnant to her current boyfriend Kenneth ‘Zoo’ Petty.
The Anaconda-rapper shared a picture of herself recently, promoting her new track Zanies And Fools (she collaborated with Chance the Rapper). In it, she quoted verse 36.
Minaj says, “He the Clyde to my Bonnie, ’bout to walk down the aisle and be a mommy.”
“I remember when I cried like ‘why me?’ Now I wouldn’t Exchange my life for Armani.”
She posted the lyrics on Instagram, along with an image of herself and Petty. That was the image that sent Minaj fans into a tizzy, generating more than 21,678 comments – including some congratulating the happy couple.
The plot thickened when Minaj recorded her latest online show Queen Radio. In it, she refers to Petty as her ‘husband’ before telling critics of her relationship with him – a registered offender – to ‘back off’.
Last month Minaj admitted to knowing Petty since she was a teenager. Last month she revealed that the couple had filed for a marriage license, prompting this fresh wave of speculation that it had finally come through.
The singer recently made news in the Middle East by pulling out of Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Music Fest last-minute.
