Uber has unveiled a new subscription service, that sees users pay $25 (AED90) per month that gives you free deliveries on UberEats, free bike and scooter rental as well as price protection (meaning no more surge-charges)
The company has begun actively testing the service, which is currently called ‘Uber Pass’.
Currently, in its pilot phase, there are different versions currently being tested across major cities in the United States. According to a statement by Uber, “from meals to wheels and everything in between, we’re always looking for ways to make Uber the go-to option for your everyday needs.”
Earlier this year, Uber was testing variations of bundled subscription plans, called Ride Pass. That service gave users discounts when they ordered food while currently inside an Uber vehicle.
The service being trialed now is the first to include 30-minutes of free Jump bike and scooter use per day. It’s thought that as Uber expands its service (Uber Boat, Uber Chopper, etc.) that users would be given additional benefits.
As of right now, no public roll-out date has been announced.
