Artworks from the famous artist Edvard Munch, the very man behind ‘The Scream’, has come to Saudi Arabia‘s Ithra art centre for a very special exhibition.
It’s the first time the Middle East has seen Munch’s artworks displayed and it is part of the exhibition titled “Edvard Munch: Landscapes of the Soul”. It will be open to the public until September 3, 2019.
There are about 40 works of art from Norwegian modern artist on display and it’s in partnership with the Munch Museum in Norway and design-firm Snøhetta.
The exhibition will explore Munch’s work displayed across five pavilions, covering an emotional artistic expression of: melancholy, love, despair, loneliness and portraits of the soul.
