Hamilton introduced the UAE to it’s Khaki Pilot Chrono Quartz range this year at the Red Bull Air Race 2019 in Abu Dhabi. Now, Hamilton is the official timekeeper of the Red Bull Abu Dhabi Air Race, and has been since the creation of the race in 2003.
Hamilton CEO Sylvain Dolla told Esquire Middle East that the event was the perfect fit for the watch brand.
“When you look at the precision it takes to build a watch, and then look at the presicion of the Air Race pilots, it really is exactly what the brand stands for. This year, we’re showcasing the Khaki Pilot Chrono Quartz range which has been built with inputs from pilot, co-pilots and navigators and are practical,” Dolla said.

The quartz chronograph comes with a choice of stylish leather strap or metal bracelet, a 44mm stainless steel case and a gray and blue dial with 30 minute, 60 second, and tenth of a second counters. There is also a special case back engraving with the official Red Bull Air Race logo. With subtle red and blue details and a checkered flag at 12 o’clock.
Hollywood
Hamilton was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA, and known for its innovative design, Hamilton has a strong foothold in Hollywood, with products appearing in more than 500 films.

When Christopher Nolan did Interstellar and he wanted one specific watch designed for the movie he knew he could contact us and we would do it in record time, a concept watch that will soon hit the stores.”
In 2014, Interstellar showcased the Hamilton Khaki Field watch and that exact reproduction will soon be available.
Hamilton CEO Sylvain Dolla also revealed that in the new Men in Black movie, all MIB agents will wear the shield-shaped Hamilton Ventura watches.
